Our First Mission: Recycle

 Let me introduce you to our very special recycle team: Purple Frogs!

Our recycle team divided litter into 4 different parts successfully. Plastic, metal, glass and paper... They grouped them correctly within a time limit.

Here are Badenaz, Soner, Baran and Kaan...

No wonder  they had real fun!

...the other part of the team; Kadir, Emincan, Deniz and Duru.

Look! Isn't that  Dilay and Sarp seriously collecting all the things from the floor?

Phew! That was a lot of work.

Afterwards, the children completed  a big trash can   following the numbers in an order which helped them revise the numbers they already knew.

Is that all? Definitely no.

We  played an online game called “Michael, Michael, go recycle”. You may play the game at home for more fun.

WEATHER  THEME

  A few weeks ago, within the theme of “Weather Events” we made our own kites, even though we were not able to fly them J  We started the lesson by using our weather chart for brainstorming and finding out the different weather events and the most appropriate weather condition for flying a kite.  After reading the story, we led them to review and describe the story by examining the pictures of the story .  After the story, we listened to the song “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” which is from the Walt Disney’s musical “ Mary Poppins”. Lastly, we gave each child a

 kite template, so that they could create their own kite and color them as they wished.

                                                   Here are our colorful kites !!... :)

KARNE HEYECANI

Arkadaşımız Emir'in annesi sınıfımıza aile katılımı için geldi.Bizim için kekler yapmış.Renkli kremalarla ve şekerlerle  keklerimizi süsledik.Daha sonra afiyetle yedik.Ellerinize sağlık çok güzel olmuşlar :)

                      Yeni yıl için takvim yaptık.Takvimin üzerine doğum günlerimizi işaretledik.

"Şirinler" isimli filmi izledik.Filmin arasında mısır yedik. Arkadaşlarımızla birlikte yaptığımız her etkinlik çok eğlenceli...

Elimizi beyaza boyayıp kartonun üzerine bastırarak şeklini çıkardık.Şapka ve gözlerle çok komik bir noel baba oldu.

          Temamız Uzay... Çılgın Profesör  çok ilginç deneyler yaparak bizi yine şaşırtmayı başardı.

                                           Mad Scıence ve Çılgın Profesörü çoook seviyoruz.

 

Bulutlar temasında, bulut maskeleri yaptık.Sınıftaki arkadaşlarımızla bulut dramasını canlandırdık. Denizden buharlaştık, gökyüzüne çıktık, rüzgar bize eşlik etti, soğuk havayla karşılaştık ve yağmur damlası olduk :)

                                       KARNE GÜNÜ... HEPİMİZ ÇOK HEYECANLIYIZ.

What an excellent Christmas Party we had. We visited different stations where we were able to make New Year craft activities. We had fun dancing and eating cake then Santa arrived with a sack full of fabulous presents. Thanks Santa for entertaining us J Hope, we all have a great year… Welcome 2012J
