We love dinosaurs...

Purple frogs started off the new week by learning new songs and talking all about dinosaurs. We observed

that dinosaurs are a popular topic of discussion for kids. We talked about meat eaters and plant eaters. 

We talked about dinosaur sizes, colors, and shapes during our dinosaur theme.Also we asked kids to put

dinosaurs in order from biggest to smallest and then from smallest to biggest.

                                      
                                      
                                     

 We matched the dinosaurs by counting dots on the dinosaurs cards.

Vahşi hayvanlarımızı trenin vagonlarına yapıştırdık.

Sevimli vahşi hayvanları duvara yapıştırarak trenimizi oluşturduk.

Değerler Eğitiminde yardımlaşmayı öğreniyoruz.

Mor kurbağalar yardımlaşarak birlikte kule oluşturmaya çalışıyor :)

Ve işte sonunda harika bir kule ortaya çıktı. BİRLİKTE BAŞARDIK.

Beden Eğitimi dersinde hentbol öğreniyoruz.

Paslaşarak karşı kaleye gitmemiz gerekiyor.

A week of Wild Animals and Happy Birthdays

What were the Purple Frogs up to this week?  Well, our theme this week was Wild Animals.  We listened to stories and songs about wild animals. We also looked at lots of pictures and talked about wild animals.

We listened as our teacher read a book called, "Smiley Shark."  It was about a friendly shark that had a hard time making friends because of his big, scary teeth.

  We did a fun "Find the Differences" worksheet about animals.

   On the back of the worksheet was a math exercise with animal pictures.

Our new unit in "Happy House"  was all about birthdays.  There were lots of stories and songs about birthdays. After we watched a story about Spike's birthday on the computer, we looked at the story cards and tried to put them in the correct order.

 I hope this is correct!

 Hooray, we did it!  We put the story in the correct order.

  Our teachers helped us out on this one.

Well, that's it for another week.  We had a lot of fun learning all about wild animals.  We will continue with our Happy Birthday theme in "Happy House."  We are going to start learning about DINOSAURS, too.  Wow, that should be great!  See you later.

Where are the purple frogs?

This week we learned inside and outside concepts. Because kids need to understand placement and location of objects and understand the meaning of these words to help them understand directions later in their learning. How can we teach them these concepts?Of course by playing games:). We played inside-outside game. We placed several hula hoops on the floor. 

Then Purple frogs started to walk around the hoops while music was playing. When the music stopped, all kids had to stand inside of a hoop. 

 

When the music started again everyone had to stand outside of hoop and walked around the hoops. Of course we removed one hoop. End of the game with one hoop, purple frogs tried to squeeze in the hoop:). 

                      After we played the game,we did an activity about inside and outside concepts. 
                                                  We matched and coloured the penguins.

                                          This week our topic is Global Warming. 
                                               We read a book which was related to our topic.

Okulun ilk açıldığı günden bu yana her gün saydık. Desteler yaptık; birleri ve onları öğrendik. Sonunda güzel bir sergi ve çoook eğlenceli bir parti ... :)

"100. GÜN" sergimizi gezdik.

Yaptığımız maskelerle dans ettik.

Arkadaşlarımızla 100 tane balon patlattık ve içine gizlenmiş şekerleri bulduk :)

Havin 100. gün etkinliği olarak çikolata getirdi. Çikolatalarını bizimle paylaştı.

Emir'de 100 tane şeker getirdi. Rengarenk şekerler çok güzeldi.

"100. GÜN" partisinde bu ay doğan arkadaşlarımızın yaş günlerini kutladık.
