Hello dear parents:) This week we were all exicited as we  celebrated 23rd of April by playing amusing games in our stations and anxiously awaiting the BIG day "Monday"...  

Besides, as a subtitle we learned "family members" and did some activities.

Here we are reading a story about a baby owl looking for her mummy.

Deniz, Dilay and Batın are showing you the family member cards of the Happy House.

As you can see we are preparing our family members frame.

Duru and Mert are about to finish their work.

Bitkilerin tohumla çoğaldığını öğrendik.

Bitki tohumlarını grupladık. Tek tek saydık ve kaç tane olduğunu yazdık.

Bitkilerde oluşan değişiklikleri gözlemliyoruz.

Ektiğimiz patates ve soğanı suladık. Ne zaman yaprak çıkarır?

Tohumlarla sanat etkinliği yaptık. Bu mısır tohumları çok küçük ...

Yaptığımız çiçeğin ortasına renkli sim döktük.

Çiçeklerimizi saksılarımıza diktik. Gerçek gibi oldu :)

Bahçede bitki fideleri ektik.

Üzerine dikkatlice toprak dökelim.

Plants, plants and plants

This week our topic was "plants".The first activity that we did was a group activity. We matched the vegetables and the fruits with the trees.

                           

Our next activity was putting the cards in the correct order. It was a pair work activity. 

 Then we checked them on the board and wrote the numbers.

After we practised  putting the cards in the right order, we did a worksheet activity about plants.

The next day, we created our potato research book. First we observed our potatoes. We looked at the size,  and the color.

Then we asked them to count the eyes on their potatoes and write it down.

During a study of plants, we made some predictions about how we think plants grow such as strawberries, lemons, tomatoes, and carrots. We graphed our predictions on chart paper.
