Plants, plants and plants

This week our topic was "plants".The first activity that we did was a group activity. We matched the vegetables and the fruits with the trees.

                           

Our next activity was putting the cards in the correct order. It was a pair work activity. 

 Then we checked them on the board and wrote the numbers.

After we practised  putting the cards in the right order, we did a worksheet activity about plants.

The next day, we created our potato research book. First we observed our potatoes. We looked at the size,  and the color.

Then we asked them to count the eyes on their potatoes and write it down.

During a study of plants, we made some predictions about how we think plants grow such as strawberries, lemons, tomatoes, and carrots. We graphed our predictions on chart paper.
