INSECTS INSECTS EVERYWHERE!

Hello again from the Purple Frogs.  Our school year is winding down, but we still have got lots of things to do.  As usual, we have new pictures about our week at school.
Our theme last week was INSECTS.  We learned a lot of new things about insects and we did some really fun arts and crafts projects.  Most importantly, we learned that although insects may be a little yucky, they are important and helpful animals.

Take a look at some of the things we made in our stations this week.

Havin and Soner are working on a cut, colour, and paste insect.  We learned that every insect has got 6 legs, 2 antennae, and 3 body parts.

Batın and Emincan show off their giant butterfly finger puppets.

Kadir, Mert and Duru have got their butterfly life cycle projects.  We learned that butterflies go from egg to caterpillar to pupa and finally turn into butterflies.

As always, we completed some worksheets in our "Happy House" English lesson.  We are really good at doing these activities and will be ready for our English classes next year in 1st grade.
This worksheet was a listening activity. First, we had to listen and circle the correct picture.  Then we had to listen and draw lines from the numbers to the correct pictures. No problem!

Way to go Purple Frogs!  That was really great work from all of you.

Well, that was a little taste of the Purple Frogs' week.  Insects was a really great theme for us.  Our new theme will be ANTS and BEES.  That should be interesting as well.
